29 October 2019 Wightman & Parrish

Period Poverty: Free feminine hygiene products on match days.

Wightman & Parrish partner with Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club to provide free feminine hygiene products on match days.

Brighton & Hove Albion became the first Premier League club to support the “On the Ball” campaign in 2018 and is now set to continue its support during its 2019/20 season.

Wightman & Parrish are excited to support the club with this campaign by providing over 11,000 free sanitary products all of which will be plastic free.

The campaign led by three passionate Celtic fans aims to welcome more female football fans into stadiums across the country. Currently many stadiums in the UK have sanitary products locked up in machines, charging women and girls a fee to access these necessities.

Nicholas Parrish, Managing Director at Wightman & Parrish says “With ‘Period Poverty’ having a huge impact on many young women and girls across the UK, we applaud Brighton & Hove Albion for picking up this campaign and we are looking forward to providing female sanitary products to their football fans at zero cost. We are excited to support the club and hope to see more and more stadiums across the UK move forward with this initiative.”

Wightman & Parrish provide health & hygiene products for businesses across the UK.  We specialise in the FM, Healthcare and Education sectors and pride ourselves on understanding our customers and the changing demands on their businesses.
