Wightman & Parrish took part in a beach clean on Sunday in conjunction with Plastic Free Eastbourne, and their 2023 Spring Water Festival.
Two of our employees, Anna Kelly and Lindsay Ingram volunteered and took part in the beach clean for several hours on Sunday. Lindsay's husband and two sons also took part in the clean as well!
Several of our Suppliers also helped us to take part in this, by donating equipment to use.
Hill Brush Co kindly donated the litter picking bag hoops, which are made from 100% recycled products, and litter pickers seen in the pictures below.
Polyco donated gloves for our volunteers to wear, which are made from recycled plastic bottles!
Plastic Free Eastbourne said, "This has become a popular annual event and it usually results in our beaches becoming much cleaner, and for volunteers, there is a real sense of achievement and satisfaction."
As Plastic Free Champions, we team up with Plastic Free Eastbourne for litter-picking events to make our local environment more eco-friendly. We're dedicated to keeping our community free from plastic waste!
