Wightman & Parrish sponsor Hellingly Primary School First Aid Training

Wightman & Parrish are proud to announce their sponsorship of Hellingly School's children to have first aid training. The goal of the project is to ensure that students at the school have access to quality first aid training, in order to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills for responding effectively in times of crisis.

Wightman & Parrish understands how important it is for everyone – especially children – to receive quality first aid education. That is why they have committed themselves to sponsoring Hellingly School's students so they can receive professional instruction from experienced instructors who specialize in developing customized courses that meet the needs of each student group. Hellingly School contacted us, after a year 6 student who had seen the cardiac arrest suffered by Christian Eriksen in the Euro 2020 games, requested him and his fellow pupils recieve First Aid training and defibrillator training.

During the sessions, which took place with Years 3 - 6, students learnt what to say if you needed to call 999, the recovery position, and they learnt about CPR. Years 5 & 6 also recieved some basic defibrillator training.
